A303 A303 Closures Andover to Bullington (Hampshire) Carriageway Repairs

A303 Hampshire Carriageway Repairs

We will be resurfacing sections of the A303 eastbound and westbound carriageways between Andover and Bullington Cross in Hampshire, to ensure the network remains in a safe condition for road users.

For the safety of our workforce and customers, we will be closing the A303 overnight between 9pm and 6am, Monday to Friday only) as follows:

Monday 18 November for 5 nights – A303 Andover Resurfacing

Closure of the A303 eastbound carriageway between the A343 Hundred Acre/Monxton junction and the A3093 Picket Twenty Interchange. A signed diversion will be in place via the Andover ring-road.

Monday 25 November for 2 nights – A303 Harewood Forest to Picket Twenty Resurfacing

Closure of the A303 westbound carriageway from the A34 (Bullington Cross) to the A3093 Picket Twenty junction. A signed diversion will be in place via Sutton Scotney, the A30 and the A3057.

Wednesday 27 November for 2 nights – A303 Andover to Forton Resurfacing

Closure of the A303 eastbound carriageway between the A3093 Picket Twenty junction (Andover) and the Longparish junction. A signed diversion will be in place via the A3093, the A343 towards Newbury and the A34 southbound carriageway.

Please be aware that these closures are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances – please check the yellow signs placed in advance at the junction for confirmation of the closures dates/timings.

If access to your business is located directly off the A303 (between Bullington Cross and Picket Twenty) within the closure extents, a traffic marshalling service will be provided should you require access to/from your property during the closure periods. The mobile phone number to request this service will be advertised on a black and yellow sign placed at the closure points. All drivers will also need to adhere to the reduced site speed limits when passing plant and/or our workforce.
