Burdock Valley Players

Burdock Valley Players

The Burdock Valley Players are is an enthusiastic and friendly amateur dramatics group local based at Upper Clatford Village Hall.

After 30 years, the group is still thriving to bring theatrical entertainment to the village.  But groups like the Burdock Valley players rely on a steady stream of new blood to keep going and improving.  We regularly stage pantomimes or musicals in the Winter and stage a drama or comedy in the Spring. We like to let our younger members shine, so we have recently set up BVP Youth who stage a production of their own in the Spring.

Whether you are interested in acting, painting scenery, making costumes, serving in the bar or even arranging meetings and filing accounts, Burdock Valley Player membership could be for you. The group meets on a Tuesday evening throughout the year with extra rehearsals on Sundays prior to performances. We welcome people of all ages, skills and talents.

In addition to our drama we have a healthy social life and regularly arrange events such as BBQ's, Music Quizzes and trips to restaurants and the theatre.
