Fly tipping is something we are all aware of and it really helps when residents spot it and report it. Upper Clatford Parish Council, in conjunction with TVBC were able to successfully report one fly-tipper who deposited waste just by the Chalk Pit. The individual was taken to court and is paying compensation. There are constant issues with fly tippers, something we all see the results of as we walk round the parish. Remember fly tipping includes disposing of your garden waste in public areas, on grass verges or on our foot paths for example. There are frequent cases of individuals dumping their waste on land other than their own. Please don't, it's still fly tipping. Dispose of your garden waste properly.

Hampshire County Council is launching a new campaign to raise awareness of fly tipping and particularly using others to get your waste removed - be wary of offers to have your rubbish taken away- see the posters for more information including numbers to call.
